The hills of Soave, known for the prestigious white wine, offer numerous attractions to visitors: Venetian villas, castles, expanses of vineyards and cherry trees. All wineries are open to the public and make their products available for tasting and there are many typical small restaurants where one can taste the traditional dishes, accompanied by the wines of the area.
Soave is a historic small town, enclosed by medieval walls up to the top of the hill where the impressive Castle rises. The famous "Medieval Festivity," with performances by characters wearing traditional period costumes and by flag-wavers, takes place every year in the month of May
