Custoza is famous for being the scene of two important battles of the Risorgimento. An Ossuary was built near the town as a memorial to those war events.
Custoza lies on the morainic hills surrounding Lake Garda and is rich of expanses of vineyards, where the famous white wine called Bianco di Custoza is produced. Other cultivations in the area are: peaches, kiwis, strawberries and the famous broccoli of Custoza.
The area has plenty of restaurants and other typical places where one can taste the famous tortellini of Valeggio sul Mincio, among other dishes.
